Autographs - Aviation Prints by Signed by Celebrities and Other People of Renown
Over the years, many military aviation enthusiasts including World War II Aces, movie stars, cartoonists and authors whose movies, cartoons, novels and stories were about a particular aircraft have autographed prints for Joe Milich’s collection. (See the list near the end of this column.)
Rex T. Barber is a World War II fighter ace credited with shooting down Japanese Admiral Yamamoto. Colonel Rex Barber (1917 - 2001), then 1LT is best known as a member of the top secret mission to intercept the aircraft carrying Yamamota in April 1943. (Authentication provided.)

Robin Olds (1922 - 2007) was an American fighter pilot and general officer in the U.S. Air Force. He was a "triple ace", with a combined total of 17 victories in World War II and the Vietnam War. He retired in 1973 as a Brigadier General. (Authentication provided.)

Gregory Peck (1916 - 2003) was an Academy-award winning American actor. He starred in the 1949 movie Twelve O'Clock High about B-17 Flying Fortress aircrews in the US Army’s Eighth Air Force who flew in bombing missions against Nazi Germany and occupied France during the early days of World War II. He played Brigadier General Savage, who is put in charge of a "bad luck" unit to put it into ship-shape. The movie was based on the 306th Bomb Group. (Authentication provided.)
